Sebastian Strobl and Andreas Sirtl · 2026
The coauthors enjoyed the clear lake swim, easy parking and helpful organization. They found the flat bike course windy and the eight run laps mentally demanding, but appreciated spectator encouragement and frequent refreshments.
Source context and limitations
Joint firsthand 2026 middle-distance report by Trisport Erding members Sebastian Strobl and Andreas Sirtl, introduced as their account and published 27 September 2026. This is one coauthored report, not two independent reviews. Their visual description of clear water is not a laboratory water-quality finding. The 20 km run is nonstandard and total historical swim / bike lengths are unstated.
