Michael Brinkmann, Bremervörder Zeitung report reproduced by the organizer · 2026

Brinkmann describes cold, rainy early conditions and a late change replacing individual-race swims with running. Relay swimmers were permitted to enter later as conditions improved. His report notes that arrangements did not all proceed smoothly, while organizers and athletes adapted to the changes.

    Source context and limitations

Community opinion; participation and firsthand experience are not established. Attributed 2026 local-newspaper assessment, publicly reproduced as two original scans by the Oste organizer. Writer participation, attendance and firsthand experience are not independently established. This is event context about altered formats and organization, not a participant review of an intact Sprint or Olympic triathlon. The independent and relay programs differed; no unchanged future-course claim is made.
