    Sebastian Baecke · 2026

Baecke describes wind-driven swim waves, a long route to transition and a flat, technically simple bike course with no drafting. He found his first transition awkward and had to restrain an overly fast start on the two-lap run.

    Source context and limitations

First-person 2026 Olympic account on Magdeburger TC’s club site. The writer reports 10 km of running while the current DTU listing gives 9.5 km; neither is silently substituted. Other teammates’ results are separate, and the report does not describe the Sprint entrants’ experience.
