Reports and event feedback

  • 2024 express-distance experience at Triathlon de Québec ↗

Patrick Fortier (interview respondent); unnamed federation interviewer/editor · 2024

Patrick Fortier recalls finishing the express event at Sainte-Foy exhausted and struck by its intensity. Without a comparison point, he initially questioned his performance and whether he had enjoyed it.

    Source context and limitations

Historical June 1, 2024 express-distance participant account, published September 19, 2025. Exact segment lengths are not supplied; this is event context, rather than a Sprint or Olympic review. The provincial federation published the interview, and Fortier identifies himself as a Triathlon Rive-Sud club administrator. An organizer role, compensation and independence are unverified. Participation is self-reported; the account does not establish unchanged 2026 conditions.
