What racers and reviewers say

  • Racecheck (Reading Triathlon)Raced 2026 · aggregator · Positive

Racecheck shows 90 reviews averaging 4.6/5 (4.62 in 2026), mostly from 2025 and 2026 and mostly standard distance, plus a few sprint and aquabike. Reviewers agree on friendly, enthusiastic marshals, excellent pre-race communication (including a briefing video), a flat, quiet, well-marked bike course and lap run with support on each lap, and that it suits beginners. The shared complaints are weed in the lake (worse when water was low), a 10 to 20 minute walk from the car park, slightly uneven run ground, and weak aid stations and swag scores. Road closures are not mentioned.
