A Tulsa sprint athlete found the hills unexpectedly demanding ↗
Terry L. VanderWert · 2022

Source context and limitations
A firsthand June 25, 2022 sprint report, published September 15, 2022. The author now promotes his book about his fifty-state triathlon journey on the page; that commercial connection is disclosed. This is a historical race account: the 2022 two-day programme differs from the current all-Sunday schedule, and the route, weather, water, wetsuit rules and refreshments may have changed. His device distances and temperature readings are personal observations, not current official measurements. No Olympic-distance experience or present service guarantee is inferred.
