    Clare Norris · 2021

Clare enjoyed returning to the water despite weeds beneath the surface. She describes a lovely flat bike course and a good atmosphere shared by experienced racers and first timers, even under the spectator restrictions of that edition.

Signed participant report in Dulwich Runners’ SHORTS newsletter of 16 June 2021, printed page 5. Clare explicitly raced the 13 June Sprint. Her early start, no-wetsuit announcement and social distancing belong to that historical edition. The contemporary PTO announcement independently identifies Dorney Lake Events as the June organizer and explains the professional race later that day. This supports the June event family rather than other organizers or months at Dorney Lake; it does not establish the current course, water conditions or services.
