    Rachel Hancock · 2026

Hancock enjoyed the lake views, quiet rolling bike roads and varied lakeside run, despite a choppy swim that disrupted her rhythm. She reports a temporary-light section where competitors dismounted and pushed their bikes before restarting uphill, and appreciated the support near the finish.

Rachel Hancock’s first-person 2026 Lostock AC account of the Sprint within Ullswater’s triathlon weekend. Leg totals are unstated, so retained as event context. Temporary traffic controls and conditions describe that edition.
