    Katharina Klusmann · 2021

Klusmann praises the organization and describes wet, cool conditions and a three-second rolling start at Torfmoorsee. From the sidelines she could easily follow her club’s swimmers, then supported them through the bike and run.

Perspective: spectator; this is not a finisher review. Firsthand 2021 spectator account by Triathlon Team Düsseldorf’s women’s league coordinator, supporting her team at Riesenbeck. She did not race. Pandemic-era 600 / 16 / 4.2 km legs differ from the modern event’s listed course and remain event context.
