    Aurelie found the lake clear and calm but struggled to sight distant buoys and exit over rocks. She describes an initial bike climb, demanding descents, a hot climb back and a windy plateau, followed by steep exits from the crater on each run lap. She was pleased with her finish and notes her watch measured the run short.

    2015 Lac du Bouchet M account by Aurelie, a Tryssingeaux club member. The race had a 1.5 km swim; the run was advertised as 10 km but her watch measured about 8.5 km. That is an athlete measurement, not a certified distance. Start delays and route observations belong to this historical edition; the current festival also offers other formats.
