  • Strokes, Spokes, Strides Sprint Triathlon: first triathlon ↗

    ChuckRuns · 2017

Chuck found his first triathlon demanding but appreciated volunteers directing each turn and the personal announcer callouts at transitions and the finish. Pool traffic interrupted his swim rhythm, and he found the later hills hard.

Historical June 2017 sprint account: 300-meter swim, an 11.8-mile bike shortened for bridge work, and 5K run. The organizer now lists approximately 13 cycling miles. This describes one first-timer’s experience, not current course conditions.
