    Kelsey enjoyed the scenery on a ride from Lander toward Sinks Canyon and especially liked the downhill return. She described the longer outing as manageable and wanted to do it again.

    Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race course-preview context from a travel blog published in July 2018. Her outing continued beyond the triathlon’s Sawmill Campground turn to the Rise and visitor center. Only the shared lower road approach from Lander is relevant; the article does not isolate a separate assessment of that portion. Her overall enjoyment is not a measurement of the race’s gradient, a review of its swim/run or services, or a current-condition finding. The visit was in late May but its year is not explicit.
