What racers say
- Volunteers recalled supplementing water during a hot Kenmore Quad ↗
Northshore Emergency Management Coalition (unnamed volunteer-team writer) · 2025
NEMCo’s volunteer team recalled supporting Kenmore Quad at Log Boom Park in August 2025. Its retrospective says the team supplied additional water when the event’s own supplies ran out.
Perspective: race volunteer; this is not a finisher review. A short affiliated volunteer operational retrospective, rather than an independent athlete review. The entire August 2025 Kenmore Quad section was read, including the writer’s account of staffing aid stations near the transitions and providing supplemental water. It describes that historical day only: it does not establish present water provision, a racewide safety conclusion, current heat, or participant satisfaction. No individual author is identified for this section. The separate July fireworks and other community-event reports on the page are excluded.
