What racers say

  • Shell Lake 2026: a welcoming race and rolling countryside ↗

    Tiffany Kari Cizmas · 2026

Cizmas enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, plentiful course volunteers and rolling bike route. She found the uphill gravel late in the run challenging and was pleased with her finish.

Her first-person report was published August 7, 2026 about the Shell Lake Lions swim/bike/run. It is historical event context, with no star rating. She reports that swimmers followed a leader who missed a buoy; that is her observation, not an official course measurement. The publisher’s archive pagination can change.
