    melrodschmidt · 2014

The returning racer found both the swim and bike unusually crowded, with swimmers bunching at the buoys. A shout-out from the announcer and support from friends lifted her spirits on the run, and she was delighted to finish substantially faster than her previous attempt.

July 19, 2014 Indy Sprint series race at Eagle Creek Park, reporting 500 m swimming, 10 miles cycling and 3 miles running. Historical July-round context: the series now numbers July as round one rather than round two. This is not participation in the selected 2026 date or confirmation of its course conditions.
