Brea Cherne Ashcraft · 2026
Brea Cherne Ashcraft loved cycling through farmland and enjoyed the run. She also described crowding in the pool and found the staggered starts made it hard to judge her race position.
Firsthand 2026 participant account. The writer names CU Triathlon and describes the same three legs as the Champaign event. She says late entrants started behind the seeded swimmers, describes people passing in the shallow end, and reports uncertainty about race position during the staggered run. These are her observations from one edition, not independently verified operational findings or current conditions. Personal health details and results are excluded. Photos were not assessed.
