  • A historical lap swim in a bright, cool pool ↗

    Patrick W. Brundage

A visiting swimmer described a sun-filled, cool six-lane lap pool during his own swim.

Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race swimming context from a pool-tourism article published October 16, 2022; the actual visit date is not independently established. Patrick W. Brundage describes his own swim rather than entering this triathlon. The link to the current race’s illustrated basin is a visual inference: the university’s current Tri for the Y poster and his original photograph show the same distinctive striped window columns, lane area and roof structure. This concerns a historical impression of that physical swimming basin, with no claim about current water temperature, race-day access, event services or race participation.
