Roger liked the late start, low-key local atmosphere and mix of first-timers and experienced athletes. He enjoyed catching up with friends but was disappointed that the hot run’s water station required him to stop and fill his own cup.
Historical Founders Day account with an approximately 400-meter point-to-point lake swim and a run just under three miles. The current registration specifies an out-and-back swim and a different bike length. Old transfer arrangements, racks and self-service water are not current operational claims.
