What racers say
- Brad’s 2011 New Town report ↗
Brad / Pace Of Mind · 2011
Brad recommends the race and appreciated the spaced swim start and residents’ enthusiastic cooling and cheering support. He disliked the lake water, found the bike headwind and hot run demanding, and noted missing run mile markers.
Historical 1,000-meter swim, 20-mile bike and four-mile run. These are the longer race’s approximate dimensions, not today’s Sprint. Water appearance, heat, signage and support describe that day; they establish no current water-quality or safety finding. No organizer affiliation is stated.
