    Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical course preview outside the race, from a July 3–5, 2020 boating trip described in an April 2025 article. The exact race water-course page and its labeled map independently place the swim and alternative kayak legs on this same Belmont Lake in Barkcamp State Park. Her actual traveled sections are unknown, so the article does not establish traversal of either plotted race loop, swimming experience or race participation. Stillness and quiet are her impressions during that 2020 visit, not current water, weather, crowding, water-quality or safety findings. Parking, fishing, campground amenities, motor rules and race services are not assessed here.
