What racers say
- Kristen Hawkins enjoyed Oro Valley’s 2022 intermediate race ↗
Kristen Hawkins · 2022
Kristen found the pool swim smooth, enjoyed the rolling bike hills after indoor training, and liked the flat looping run. She appreciated the scenery, welcoming energy and easy conversations with other athletes, and considered it a good season opener.
Historical 2022 intermediate-distance account, not a Sprint or a standard Olympic review. Cal Tri’s July 2026 announcement explicitly confirms acquiring the former Oro Valley Triathlon. Her older course, weather and participant impressions do not establish the new organizer’s current services or route. This original account also appears in the existing historical rated research; displaying it here adds no independent writer or source URL.
