What racers say

  • Lake Norman State Park 2017: hills, choppy water and a satisfying race ↗

    Dave Munger · 2017

Munger enjoyed racing in the scenic park and surrounding roads. He found the swim choppy, the bike hilly and the run challenging, and was pleased with his overall race despite losing time in transition.

Historical Sprinter course: advertised 1,000 m swim, roughly 18-mile bike and a run of about four miles. The current listing uses 750 m/18 miles/5 km, so this remains event context.
