Jolene found the shallow-end pool exit straightforward and the smaller transition easier to navigate. Rolling bike hills challenged her, but the downhill latter part of the run helped her regain a comfortable stride. She lost time fixing her own dropped chain.
Historical Wasilla experience in a June 29, 2019 multi-race post. Current registration places the event at Palmer Pool with changed distances; this does not assess that course. One closing comparison repeats the event’s own name inconsistently and is excluded. Personal gearing trouble is not an organizer fault.
