    Raced 2008 · Beyond Ironman

    Tone: Mixed

A sprint finisher praises volunteers, cheering students and overall organization. She describes seeded pool lanes, gentle bike hills, turns, traffic and grit, plus a transition-space problem. The run brought a personal best, but she disliked the finish drink. This account predates the revised bike and finish routes.
