Lyvit · 2018
Lyvit loved the race and felt its distances suited their preparation. Although well behind after the sea swim, they gained places on the bike and were pleased to reach the finish. They appreciated the organizers allowing a late entry.
Source context and limitations
Complete 24 September 2018 personal blog post, including the full Falmouth account within a post titled Swim Serpentine 2018. The writer explicitly raced the intoTRI Falmouth event at Gyllyngvase Beach. Distance is not stated, so this is historical event context. Praise for Swim Serpentine’s lake conditions, marshals and organization belongs to that separate event and is excluded. No current entry policy, sea conditions or course continuity is inferred.

Paul Colledge, publishing the Situ8 team’s account
The Situ 8 team recalls being nervous before a rough sea swim in cold, windy weather. The group was pleased to complete the triathlon and raise money for Surfers Against Sewage.
Source context and limitations
Complete short first-person team account on the planning consultancy’s original public Squarespace site. It names a 16 September race but does not state the edition year or distance. The page’s 2020 publication metadata is not treated as the race year. Employer publicity, team sponsors and Surfers Against Sewage fundraising are disclosed. The description of unusually rough conditions is the team’s historical judgment, not a measured comparison or current water forecast.
