Reports and event feedback
- Katy 2015: kind organizers, but a puncture ended the bike leg ↗
Kelsie Oreta (tinykelsie) · 2015
Kelsie praised the helpful, kind organizers and felt pleased with her swim and run. She found the bike surface extremely rough on her small wheels; after a puncture and SAG pickup she resumed at the run. That experience left her unlikely to return.
Source context and limitations
Historical 2015 Firethorne edition with an incomplete, vehicle-assisted bike leg. This is not a completed Sprint review. The race has since moved to Katy Boardwalk, so the old road surface, swim start and logistics do not describe the current course. The writer’s bike size and missing repair kit shaped her experience; no gifted entry is stated.
