Lutz describes strong headwinds on the climbing outbound bike section and a very fast return. He found conditions comfortable overall and welcomed the breeze as cooling on the flat run.

    Source context and limitations

    Thomas Paus · 2024

Paus describes a cool Altmühl swim and strong gusts that made holding a straight line on aerodynamic bikes difficult. He found the run more manageable, with the wind less troublesome and temperatures pleasant.

    Source context and limitations

Participant-authored 2024 TSV Oettingen report written in the third person. The named author is explicitly listed among the racers. Its 400 m / 23.2 km / nearly 5 km course differs from the 2026 distances; historical wind and water observations remain event context.
