    Rue, Helmuts Fahrrad-Seiten public forum · 2009

Rue enjoyed the coastal setting, varied field, volunteers and spectators, although the unwetsuited swim felt cold and the bike was windy. They were happy to finish and wanted to return, but disliked a disputed late-entry surcharge and being charged again for a certificate after leaving the receipt behind.

    Source context and limitations

Complete public first-person forum report posted 8 June 2009, retained in the publisher’s public archive. This concerns the old Herrenkoog / Stäljmun race, explicitly identified by the current patron club as the event revived under the Koog Kollektiv name. Organization, fees, route lengths, weather and services have not been established as continuous across the long hiatus. The historical complaints are attributed to the writer and are not claims about the 2026 organizers. Public pseudonym only; identity independently unverified.
