    Michael Brichta · 2016

Brichta remembers his first Schopfheim triathlon as very hard on a folding bike without gears, followed by an emotional, joyful finish that immediately made him want to race again.

    Source context and limitations

Federation-published retrospective of Brichta’s 2016 Schopfheim Sprint. Polar supplied a bike computer and watch in return for progress reports; that equipment support is disclosed in the interview. This does not describe today’s supersprint course.
