Thunder enjoyed the clear lake and mountain views, then struggled with the hilly, windy bike and run after limited preparation. He praises the organization, course markings and numerous aid stations, while describing a close encounter with a car on the bike.

    Source context and limitations

First-person 2009 CD report on Kikourou by thunder. Historical Lac de Passy / Pays du Mont-Blanc race; incomplete leg lengths are left as event context. Modern federation presentation names the same Passy event, lake and organizing club. The reported traffic incident is his experience, alongside his positive overall organization assessment.
