  • Leslie Dumont, ANA YMCA Masters

Raced 2017 · New England LMSC athlete report

    Tone: Positive

A sprint relay participant describes a fun team day, but rough water caused organizers to replace the swim with a beach run. This is firsthand evidence of that edition’s conditions and relay atmosphere, not a completed open-water swim or an individual full-race report.

  • Danielle (dnardi710)

Raced 2014 · Live, Run, Grow

    Tone: Positive

Danielle’s first triathlon felt welcoming, but murky open water and wetsuit anxiety caused panic. She recovered and finished; lifeguards on paddleboards were reassuring. The ride had gentle rollers and no bike distance markers, while humidity affected the run. This is an older sprint layout.

  • Shannon

Raced 2010 · Tri to Cook

    Tone: Positive

Shannon enjoyed calm September water and called the event well run. The relatively flat open-road bike felt crowded, with difficult passing and some drafting. Gentle run inclines and the older sandy finish completed a satisfying day; she arrived the evening before and parked early.
