  • No Crappy Excuses race report

    Raced 2026 · Blog

    Tone: Mixed

A guided para-sprint participant described a personally improved swim, followed by a mechanical gearing failure that made the bike unusually draining. Back pain forced substantial walking, and he thanked his guide and Dare2Tri. The mechanical and medical difficulties are personal experiences, not evidence of poor race management.

    Tone: Mixed

Although the opening report is Olympic, explicit sprint commenters describe a wind-affected swim and extreme race-day heat. One experienced swimmer found the current slowed his sprint swim but still called the race enjoyable. Only those sprint comments inform this entry; the Olympic run complaints are not imported.
