Source context and limitations
A complete 2007 XTERRA EX2 participant report. The current organizer explicitly identifies Rocky Gap Off-Road as formerly XTERRA EX2, while also announcing redesigned bike and run courses for 2026. This old full-length off-road account remains historical event context; it is not feedback on the newly added Sprint, an Ironman full distance or current course and food arrangements. The blog author also identifies as a running coach; this is their individual experience.
