Buster Britton 2013: tough hills and familiar faces ↗
Chad Williamson · 2013
Chad enjoyed returning to a local race with many friends and called it fun despite demanding hills. The uphill run start made finding a rhythm difficult, but he was pleased with a personal course best and his age-group prize.
Source context and limitations
Historical 2013 participant report: advertised 400-yard swim, 13-mile bike and three-mile run, with the writer questioning swim length. The site displays commercial team and coaching affiliations, and he appears with Vulcan Tri Club. His competitive goals and prize shaped the account. The current 2027 festival adds events and may use different routes; no current logistics or safety claim.
