Reports and event feedback

  • The organizer explains its May 2026 postponement ↗

Lakeside organizers (individual writer uncredited) · 2026

The organizers said they discussed the weather with local agencies and felt postponing the planned May 22 evening race was the best decision. They acknowledged the disruption and outlined options to keep the entry or take a credit.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: event staff; this affiliated account is not an independent participant review. An affiliated operational statement posted on the scheduled morning, rather than an athlete review or a held-race account. This records the organizers’ own decision and judgment; it is not an independent safety assessment or proof of delivered registration remedies. The old subpage retains a September 2026 header. The separate current registration announces September 2027, so the historical postponement does not cancel that future listing.
