Reports and event feedback

  • MTC Zilla Tri 2024: a co-director’s post-race lessons ↗

Donna Etherton, reported in Metro Tri Club meeting minutes · 2024

The co-director valued the volunteer turnout and identified ways to improve the next edition: clearer briefings for volunteer leads, more setup help, clearer course marking and better positioning of the trail turnaround and water stop.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: event staff; this affiliated account is not an independent participant review. A firsthand race-staff retrospective on the inaugural August 18, 2024 event, recorded in the organizing club’s September meeting minutes. It is an affiliated organizer’s operational assessment, not athlete feedback or an independent review. The recommendations describe lessons from that edition, not proof of current shortcomings or safety quality; no triathlon-distance score is assigned.
