Sandy Coomer · 2012
Coomer found her first open-water race swim frightening. She describes a hilly bike course and a steep opening run hill that she walked, and was relieved to finish.
Source context and limitations
Historical 2012 Iron Nugget Sprint participant account from Dickson, Tennessee. The current Dickson registration retains the Iron Nugget name in its canonical URL. This is her personal first-open-water and hilly-course experience; it does not establish current conditions or routing. The complete bounded entry and four captions were read before a later publisher access refusal. No broader archive HTML was retained.
