Imei appreciated the organization, friendly transition neighbors and encouragement from other racers. She describes a warm swim, headwinds on the mostly flat bike course and a flat two-loop run. She missed a bike turn while concentrating on speed and recovered, then found the final run loop difficult but was pleased to finish near her goal.
