Reports and event feedback

A Palm Beaches sprint recap describes a hard bridge run and a navigation scare ↗
Dan Egan / The Pickups · 2024
Egan enjoyed a memorable day with friends and beat his time goal. On the bike he worried about missing a turn where he saw no markings, but reached the turnaround correctly. The bridge climb made the run demanding.
Source context and limitations
March 2024 SingerIsland race, advertised400-yard swim/10-mile bike/3.1-mile run. He estimates a shorter swim from his own data; that is not a verified course measurement. Historical event context with empty formats preserves that uncertainty. His missing-marking observation is limited to the stretch he describes, not a current whole-course claim. No race affiliation is disclosed.
