  • Audrey

Raced 2019 · corre! run! run like a llama!

    Tone: Positive

Audrey enjoyed the event and achieved an age-group podium. The flat two-loop bike allowed steady riding, though she reported a close pass. Extreme heat and an unshaded waterfront run made the finish difficult; she appreciated ice, a cold towel and water. This July edition predates the current June date.

  • John Young

Raced 2010 · LP (Dwarf) Triathlete

    Tone: Positive

John found registration easy, praised police and volunteers, and appreciated recognition in the para-triathlete division. He enjoyed a flat protected bike lane and supportive spectators, then finished pleased with cold towels and refreshments. He reported longer-than-advertised swim and run distances; that edition’s three-loop bike is historical.
