Weld Amateur Radio Society · 2023
The radio club describes providing traffic control at major intersections during the May 2023 event, then also taking on an aid station.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: race volunteer; this is not a finisher review. Volunteer perspective from the May 2023 Heavy 50K and Marathon, published by the club that supplied the support. This is an account of its work, not an athlete review or an assessment of safety or organization. The current event uses a private dirt-loop venue; the historical intersections and support assignment do not describe that course.
