    C. F. Glover

Glover enjoyed the southern Legacy Trail for sustained cycling and its scenery, while finding headwinds and bridge climbs demanding on her ride.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race cycling perspective published in January 2022; the exact ride year is not stated. The Legacy Trail Ultra explicitly runs south from Sarasota on the Legacy Trail. This is a travel-blog assessment of shared trail sections, not an ultra race review or a complete course preview. Some described crossings predate later trail extensions and overpasses, and the rider’s side trip inside Oscar Scherer State Park is excluded.
