Jenn Collins · 2024
Collins enjoys the Scuppernong trails for their width, varied footing and spaced-out rolling hills, while noting occasional rocks and roots.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race trail perspective, published in December 2024. The organizer explicitly says the Prickly Pine course explores the Scuppernong trail system. Collins reviews those public trails, not this race or its exact loops; her opinion does not establish race-day conditions, aid, organization or an ultra finish.
