    John Lacroix · 2026

John Lacroix recalled the unusually hot June event and Granby Ranch providing his team with ice to help runners. He credited volunteers taking extra shifts and bringing family members to support the event.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: race official; this is not a finisher review. This is the organizer’s retrospective, signed by the race director and published in its newsletter. It concerns shared event operations in June 2026, not a participant’s race or an independently verified account of support. It does not establish that every athlete received enough ice.
