Reports and event feedback

  • A runner's view of Lake Louisa's trails ↗

    Chris Koestline

On a separate January 2026 run, Chris Koestline found Lake Louisa trails runnable but sandy, with hills toward the end of his longer route.

    Source context and limitations

Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race firsthand trail context from a separate January 14, 2026 run listed as 13.22 miles. The race explicitly names Lake Louisa's trails; the runner's continuous GPS track supports inferred relevance at the park-trail-network level. The race's 4.167-mile loop is unpublished: no shared individual segment or whole-course equivalence is established, and another branch remains possible. Observations apply to his route and outing, not race-day weather, water provision, markings, services or unchanged future conditions.
