Brian Grice, interviewed by Upstate Running Club

Brian’s early miles left his shoes soaked after rain. Changing shoes did not solve his discomfort, so he stopped short of his 50K goal but felt proud to complete his first marathon distance.

    Source context and limitations

A historical complete Q&A answer in the organizing club’s selected member spotlight. Edition year is unstated. Brian reports 26.2 miles in the nine-hour event, not a 50K finish. The live newsletter has since rotated to a different issue.
