Gina Monaldi Massery
Event context · see format details
In a brief comment on a host’s retrospective, Gina Monaldi Massery called Splash, Pedal and Sprint her favorite race.
Community opinion; participation and firsthand experience are not established. Very brief attributed community opinion dated June 28, 2025, beneath Erin Edminister’s complete retrospective of hosting the fourth annual youth event. Gina’s attendance, firsthand experience, relationship to organizers and participant role are not established; this is not an adult athlete’s review. The linked public 2025 event lists ages 5–16, while the current 2026 fifth annual organizer page additionally offers a separate Super Sprint for ages 13 and up. This comment is retained only as historical youth-event-family context, with no transfer to adult Super Sprint course, services or satisfaction. Its comment date does not establish the commenter’s raced edition. Photographs, children’s results and injury anecdotes in the containing caption are not used.

Brent said his second Tri In July in Bartlesville felt especially meaningful because his sister joined him. Alongside improving his own time, he most valued seeing people overcome their obstacles and sharing the effort with her.
A firsthand personal race reflection, with the entire original expanded caption read through its ending. He explicitly says he completed Tri In July and describes the final 5K, but his entered division and other leg distances are not stated. Sprint triathlon
The first-time triathlete found the bike hills much harder than expected and the swim start crowded. Despite that, she called the race fun and a good first triathlon, and wanted to race again.
Historical July 2021 sprint-triathlon report at Mountain Lake, New Jersey: the athlete describes a quarter-mile swim, 15-mile bike and 3.1-mile run. Her comments concern that edition and her own preparation. The mass swim start she reported, course details and novice experience do not establish the current edition’s arrangements or safety, and no numerical rating has been inferred.

Sprint triathlon
A first-time sprint racer found the lake swim his biggest mental challenge, enjoyed the bike’s hills and descents, and noticed the climbs at the start of each run lap. He felt exhausted but accomplished at the finish and described the overall race positively.
One self-published report of the 2025 sprint triathlon. The author recounts all three disciplines and a finish, which was not independently checked against official results. His swim difficulty reflects a novice’s experience rather than a finding about water conditions or safety. His hills and transition observations concern that edition; an unchanged current route is not established. Read from complete original automatic captions, which may contain errors. No numerical rating is assigned.

Jeff (The Gazelle Running Blog) · 2023
Event context · see format details
Jeff considered the no-frills race well run, professionally timed and good value, with easy check-in and proper bathrooms. He encountered weeds in the warm shallows, a construction-shortened bike course and finished pleased with his final running effort.
July 2023 third-round participant account within a weekly log. He explicitly identifies round three of four, a 600-yard swim and an approximately eight-mile bike shortened for construction. This is modified-course context; it does not establish current sprint distances or conditions. No organizer role or gifted entry is stated.
