    Marathon

    Tor found the event well organized, with easy bag drop and plentiful, well-stocked drink stations. He enjoyed many scenic sections but disliked the parking-garage passage and felt the city-center crowds were quieter than on earlier visits. The second lap felt much emptier after half-marathon runners finished.

    At Waterville’s Two Cent Bridge, Alexander Brooks appreciated watching the river and seeing the padlocks left by couples. He found the atmosphere peaceful and lively.

    Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race visitor context at the Two Cent Bridge, used in the race’s documented 2026 finish approach. The actual visit date and year are unknown, and the review does not say he crossed the entire bridge. The 2027 course and finish remain unconfirmed. This is a personal impression of the bridge setting, not marathon feedback, a review of the whole course, current conditions, hydrology, structural safety or race services.     The runner enjoyed the scenery, plentiful aid and volunteers and liked the bottle-opener medal. They wanted more merchandise options but had a positive overall experience.
