Unstated in report (file named Richard) · 2013
The half-marathon runner found Moab’s scenery spectacular and fellow runners courteous on difficult terrain. Steep sand, technical ledges and repeated cold creek crossings made it demanding, but the cheerful start area, finish food and sense of achievement made it one of their most enjoyable races.
Source context and limitations
Other-distance context from an unnamed writer’s 2013 trail half marathon, hosted in PACE’s report archive. The filename suggests Richard but the document itself has no byline. Technical sections and water crossings describe that historical half route and do not establish current full-marathon conditions.
