Allison (Running for Unicorns) · 2025

Allison initially loved the river scenery and running with a group, though rocky footing and unreliable GPS made pacing harder. In her later update, she said the rejection of her qualifying time over course length spoiled much of that satisfaction.

    Source context and limitations

A runner’s account of the September 2025 event, read together with her September 2026 update. Allison says her qualifying time was rejected because the course was short; that reported decision and the distance dispute are not independently resolved here. This is disputed-distance event context, not confirmation of a full marathon or Boston eligibility. The personal blog carries discounts and BibRave partnerships elsewhere; no gifted entry for this race was stated. Later editions and management may differ.
